Buying your first property can be both daunting and exciting, but here at Homeline we will do all we can to simplify the process and give you lots of help and advice along the way.
Rather than going direct to a high street bank or building society, at Homeline we can access mortgages from the whole of the market (including the big names and lesser known lenders) giving you greater choice in getting the best deal for you.
Your Homeline mortgage expert is there for you
We like to keep things personal and you will have a dedicated adviser who will be there from start to finish. Buying a property is a big investment and we will ensure that you understand the choice of mortgage options, keeping you updated and informed without the jargon.
Some lenders will offer special deals to first time buyers such as free valuations, cash back, help with legal fees etc. We can talk you through how it all works.
As mortgage specialists we can also advise both you and family members if they are looking into releasing equity from their own property in order to help you buy your first home.

Taking the stress out of your first mortgage
As a first time buyer we recommend getting a Decision in Principle as one of the first key steps.
This involves us working out how much you may be able to borrow by asking about your income and outgoings and conducting a soft credit check (that doesn’t affect your credit file). That will give an indication of how much you could borrow and shows to estate agents that you are serious buyers.
Subject to your current arrangements it may be possible to get you a better deal, top up your current mortgage or start a completely new mortgage, but our team has the expertise and current market knowledge to direct your mortgage application to the most suitable lender.

Moving home costs money
When moving home and planning your finances remember to factor in other expenses such as estate agent and legal fees, stamp duty, search and land registry costs, plus mortgage arrangement fees.
At Homeline Mortgages we are totally transparent about our fees and your adviser will discuss this with you to make sure you are well informed. We always help you calculate your level of borrowing to ensure it is realistic and affordable.
YOUR HOME MAY BE REPOSSESSED IF YOU DO NOT KEEP UP REPAYMENTS ON YOUR MORTGAGE.
